Our client, a leading property consultancy, is seeking an experienced Rural Valuer to join their team in Suffolk. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality rural valuations and consultancy work across a diverse portfolio while building lasting client relationships.
Position overview
You'll lead the rural valuations workstream across Suffolk and surrounding areas, undertaking valuations for loan security, tax, inheritance and estate planning purposes. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you'll provide professional advice to clients while contributing to the growth of all rural workstreams.
Responsibilities
- Deliver rural valuations across Suffolk and surrounding areas
- Undertake valuations for loan security, tax and inheritance
- Produce detailed, professional reports within agreed timescales
- Provide general rural consultancy and management advice
- Build relationships with existing and new clients
- Generate new business opportunities through effective networking
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop workstreams
Requirements
- MRICS qualified with RICS Registered Valuer status
- Proven experience delivering rural valuations and consultancy projects
- FAAV qualification (desirable)
- Strong analytical and commercial judgement skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Capable of working under pressure and prioritising workloads
- Confident, reliable and approachable with clients and colleagues
- Understanding of confidentiality and discretion requirements
- Effective networking, influencing and negotiation skills
