Our client, a leading UK property consultancy, is seeking an MRICS Associate Partner to join their infrastructure team in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a rural property professional to provide strategic advice to clients in the infrastructure sector.
Position overview
As an Associate Partner, you will deliver high-quality technical work, manage projects autonomously, and contribute to business development initiatives. This role is crucial in providing exceptional service to clients and driving growth in the infrastructure sector.
Responsibilities
- Value rural land and property
- Negotiate compensation claims
- Develop new business opportunities with claimants/landowners
- Contribute to efficient internal systems and processes
- Ensure legal compliance on all work
- Manage and mentor surveyors
- Coach team members
Requirements
- MRICS surveyor and registered valuer
- Experience in the rural sector
- CAAV fellowship (ideally)
- Compulsory purchase/compensation knowledge
- Business development-oriented attitude
- Excellent customer service skills
- Rural surveying experience
- Knowledge of relevant legislation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to drive initiatives confidently
