About
Our client is a well-established rural surveying and estate management practice with a strong reputation across the UK real estate market. They're seeking an experienced Rural Valuer to lead their valuation team across the East Anglia and deliver high-quality work across diverse rural, residential and development projects.
Position overview
You'll coordinate all valuations across the region, leading and supporting other valuers while managing your own valuation workload. This role combines hands-on surveying expertise with team leadership, allowing you to develop people, build client relationships and drive business growth across the East Anglia.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coach valuers across the East Anglia region
- Undertake valuations for loan security, tax and inheritance purposes
- Deliver valuations for rural, residential and development projects
- Produce high-quality valuation reports for clients
- Manage major valuation portals and systems
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and new clients
- Generate new business opportunities within the region
Requirements
- RICS qualified rural surveyor with substantial professional experience
- RICS Registered Valuer status
- Proven experience delivering valuations across multiple project types
- Demonstrated team leadership and people management skills
- Strong analytical and commercial judgement
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Reliable time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work
- FAAV qualification (advantageous)
