Our client is a well-established multi-disciplinary surveying practice operating across the South East, and they're looking for an experienced Chartered Rural Surveyor to join their growing valuation team. Position overview
You'll drive growth within the valuation team by completing rural and agricultural property reports, advising clients on compulsory purchase claims, environmental schemes and grant applications. You'll also collaborate with planning consultants and work on farm and land sales, building strong relationships with rural professionals and clients.
Responsibilities
- Complete valuation reports for rural and agricultural properties
- Advise clients on compulsory purchase and compensation claims
- Support environmental and grant scheme applications
- Collaborate with planning consultants and development teams
- Manage farm and land sale transactions
- Build and maintain client relationships across rural sector
- Work independently and contribute to team objectives
Requirements
- MRCIS qualification (RICS Register valuer preferred)
- Proven experience advising on rural property matters
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- Full clean UK driving licence and own vehicle access
- Ability to work both independently and within teams
