Our client is an established agricultural business providing grain procurement and agronomy services to its members across the UK. They're seeking a Farm Business Manager to drive grain sales, manage key accounts, and deliver market intelligence to support business growth.
Position overview
You'll manage grain procurement and sales targets for seed, fertiliser, and agronomy products. This role involves building and maintaining active account relationships, providing real-time market intelligence, and executing account management strategies that directly contribute to the organisation's revenue and member satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Procure grain and achieve annual sales targets for seed and fertiliser products
- Manage active and prospective account ledgers with professional account management strategies
- Provide real-time market and competitor intelligence to support trading decisions
- Maintain accurate data within company systems and deliver reporting insights
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support sustainable business growth
Requirements
- Intimate knowledge of seed varieties, fertiliser products, and their applications
- Deep understanding of UK and global grain markets and market trends
- Strong account management skills with proven ability to build client relationships
- Self-motivated with excellent time-management and organisational abilities
- Proficiency in using company systems and data management tools
