Our client is a leading agricultural management company providing comprehensive services across the UK farming sector. They're seeking a Farm Service Manager to join their team and manage grain movement operations for their farmer clients.
Position overview
You'll plan and execute grain movement operations, liaising with farm managers and regional directors to ensure accurate communication and timely service delivery. This role is central to maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and supporting the company's position within the UK agricultural supply chain.
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage physical grain movement execution for farmer clients
- Liaise with farm managers and regional directors on grain operations
- Visit managed farms to maintain relationships and oversee service delivery
- Attend regional meetings and agricultural events to support stakeholder engagement
- Coordinate with stores to ensure accurate and timely communication
- Resolve operational issues using logical problem-solving approaches
Requirements
- Strong understanding of service delivery and client relationship management
- Working knowledge of UK agriculture, including production and supply chains
- Organised and systematic approach to managing multiple priorities
- Confidence engaging with corporate and farming clients
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to present complex information clearly and concisely
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities
- Adaptable to changing client needs and operational demands
