Our client, a leading land management consultancy with over a century of expertise, is seeking a skilled Rural Chartered Surveyor to join their dedicated team in delivering comprehensive solutions across Scotland's diverse rural landscapes.
Position overview
As a Rural Chartered Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert advice and guidance on a wide range of land management matters, contributing to the sustainable development and optimisation of rural properties and assets for the consultancy's diverse client base.
Responsibilities
- Manage diverse rural property portfolios, including agricultural and commercial assets
- Provide expert advice on land transactions, tenancy issues, and compensation claims
- Conduct property appraisals and RICS Red Book valuations
- Assess and negotiate renewable energy opportunities across various technologies
- Collaborate with professional teams to deliver comprehensive land management solutions
Requirements
- MRICS qualification, preferably with Registered Valuer status
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and task management abilities with keen attention to detail
- Flexibility, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stay current with emerging property trends
- Full driving licence and access to a personal vehicle
