Our client, a leading property advisory and management firm with a history dating back to 1830, is seeking a versatile Property Manager to join their team in Market Harborough. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to the effective management of diverse property portfolios across the residential, commercial, and agricultural sectors.
Position overview
As a Property Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day management of our client's property portfolios, ensuring compliance, arranging maintenance, and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess properties
- Manage property compliance using systems like Meridian and Xero
- Arrange and oversee maintenance of residential, commercial, and agricultural properties
- Manage tenancies and build positive relationships with tenants
- Report periodically to clients on property status and performance
- Assist in managing compliance for diverse property types
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
- Versatility and adaptability to handle diverse tasks
- Experience with or willingness to learn property management systems
- Knowledge of managing contracts and renewals for insurance and utilities
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Experience arranging property maintenance and repairs
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
- Basic understanding of building and property maintenance
- Full driving licence
