Position overview
As a Rural Surveyor, you will provide expert advice to rural businesses and landowners across East Anglia on a range of professional matters, including capital grants, environmental schemes, compulsory purchase, and compensation.
Responsibilities
- Manage client files and workload in client-facing role
- Attend on-site and off-site client meetings
- Report to clients with recommended actions and fees
- Act upon and manage instructions from clients
- Collaborate with Cambridge & Ely Rural team members
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in rural sector
- RICS, CAAV or BIAC qualifications beneficial, not essential
- Knowledge of the local area is advantageous
- Experience as a rural surveyor or farm consultant
- Friendly, honest personality with strong work ethic
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Commitment to delivering high-quality service
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Full driving licence and own car for business use
