Our client is a well-established global real estate practice with a strong reputation across the rural property sector. They're seeking a Rural Surveyor to join their rural management team, delivering expert advice on estate management, infrastructure schemes, and land matters across England.
Position overview
You'll provide specialist advice on rural property matters including estate and land management, infrastructure schemes, and strategic asset management. Working from their regional office, you'll build lasting client relationships while contributing to the practice's growth and reputation in the rural sector.
Responsibilities
- Deliver expert advice on estate and land management matters
- Negotiate land consents, acquisitions and compensation claims
- Develop and refine route corridors and identify solutions
- Manage strategic business and asset management projects
- Supervise and liaise with contractors on site work
- Communicate effectively with clients and rural communities
- Identify opportunities to advance business growth and profitability
Requirements
- Relevant experience in rural property and agricultural sectors
- Strong technical knowledge of estate and land management
- Understanding of property and land law matters
- Knowledge of landlord and tenant legislation and best practice
- Valuation principles experience and understanding
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Problem-solving ability with a can-do attitude
- Outstanding organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Understanding of health and safety in estate management
- MRICS and CAAV membership (preferred)
- Keen interest in the rural environment
