Position overview
As a Sprayer Operator, you will play a crucial role in delivering timely and precise applications of chemistry and liquid fertiliser using modern, well-maintained self-propelled sprayers. Your work will directly impact the quality and productivity of crops across Norfolk, contributing to the overall success of the company and its customers.
Responsibilities
- Operate self-propelled sprayers to apply chemistry and liquid fertiliser
- Perform potato haulm flailing and fogging tasks
- Conduct soil sampling and crop protection deliveries
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment for optimal performance
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks
Requirements
- PA1 & PA2 qualifications (full training provided)
- Experience operating farm machinery
- Ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic environment
- Adaptability and flexibility to handle changing priorities
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Commitment to safety and adherence to best practices
